Consider checking the availability of extra amenities like a kettle at the front desk, as they may not be in your room.

I got what I paid for...and I did not pay much. WiFi worked fine.
The window could not be closed properly so there was quite cold in the room (december).

Savoury and satisfactory breakfasts offered.
The hotel with great value rooms, in a safe area, close to the Old Town. Service-minded staff on reception and elsewhere. Handy and convenient location for our visit to Arab Souk Market relatively close to the venue. Pleasant experience there.

I had a great time at the Victoria Hotel! The breakfast spread was amazing, and the staff went out of their way to help us, especially Maan. The room could use some updates, but I loved the location-easily walkable to everything. Would definitely recommend!

The triple room I stayed in was reasonably spacious with multiple channels. The breakfast was tasty with an omelette, perfect to start my day.

comfortable stay but needs bathroom improvements
The location was excellent. Daily housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping our room neat. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options, including delicious fruits and cheeses, which I looked forward to each morning. I particularly enjoyed the mountain view from my room.
The bathroom space felt cramped, making it slightly inconvenient to move around.

The porter was very friendly and helpful. He did not mind our leaving a day early. Breakfast ok.
The hotel is badly overpriced. The building and the furniture are very poor. The bath badly maintained with the dirt pushed behind the toilet. This is east Jerusalem. The environment is very Asian, horns being blown through the hole night.

As far as Middle Eastern hotels go, the Victoria is quite typical. Staff is hospitable and helpful; their English is quite good (no Russian spoken, although Russians try to speak to them). The rooms are clean, although not spotless and dated. For $65 a night, however, I could hardly complain; breakfast was included for this. The cheapest single rooms run twice this, even during the off season. Nonetheless, I chose the room for its proximity to nearby institutions (the Rockefeller and W. F. Albright Institute). Wireless internet access was a plus.
